Title: Flight / Be loud. Be vibrant. Be YOU. This piece is all about expressing oneself and living as authentically and colourfully as possible - not matter how messy or imperfect that may look. The colours in this piece are variations of the classic rainbow colours, with hints of gold thrown in for a little shimmer. As an artist, this piece was a way of letting go, of finding joy in creating something as far from meticulous as possible. The simple, clean linework of the birds was a way to make them dinstinct and visible from, but part of the background at the same time. This was done with the intent of representing the idea that a person can only be free by expressing themselves and "letting the mess shine through" in a manner of speaking.
